Diversity Experience

- Worked and supported students with low-socioeconomic status, African-American background, and ELL background
- Assisted students with behavior and low academics
- Provided support in Sensory room for students to refocusing to be successful in the classroom
- Implemented behavior plans and IEP goals
- Facilitated small reading groups that supported students
- Engaged with students on a daily basis
- Worked one-on-one with students that needed extra support
Project Learning Tree
Spring 2021
- Training from Beth Hill from the North Dakota Forest Service
- Participated as a student/learner on different activities that involve nature and trees
- Discussed from an educators perspective on ways we would implement this activity in the classroom, opportunities for differentiation. We also discussed how we would be able to integrate Project Learning Tree activities into various core curricular lessons.
